JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is seeking an experienced Sr. CMS Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to perform reviews of website content, translations, and application integrations using manual and automated processes and tools. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting the QA of technology enhancements to the website Content Management System (CMS).


Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform quality assurance tasks, including reviewing and validating components of online content (e.g. application container pages, body content, breadcrumb, browser title, call-to-action, downloadable assets, external links, font size, images, internal links, page layout, page title, right rail, social share icons)

Review and understand testing requirements, process workflow, and report test results in JIRA defect management tool

Manage, track, and monitor defects, help implement process improvements to minimize defects, and train stakeholders on guidelines and standards.

Utilize the Open Text Content Management System (CMS) to test content, identify the source of defects, and troubleshoot deployment issues

Performs content development tasks within the Content Management System and coordinate with project leads to supplement content projects

Create and deploy content for the website

Ensure that content QA meets service-level agreements, stakeholder requirements, and site editorial standards

Develop testing plans for CMS enhancements, according to project requirements and wireframes

Perform technology QA for the TeamSite Content Management System, according to requirements

Manage, track, and monitor defects, help implement process improvements to minimize defects, and train stakeholders on guidelines and standards.


Qualifications:

Demonstrates understanding of implementation objectives, project planning, and one's role within a project

Participates in the implementation of a project; provides timely, thorough, and concise updates for area of responsibility; identifies areas of risk and properly communicates them to the lead

Demonstrates an understanding of basic project planning processes, including planning action items and resources

Demonstrates a general understanding of technology used by the company; communicates basic technological concepts and terminology; applies standard technology in daily work

Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment

Bachelor’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or similar field


Ideal Experience:

Strong Language Skills (English or Communications Degree)

Enterprise Level CMS work (non-Enterprise CMS work is ok too)

Web Development (or just curious about it)

SEO

Marketing/Creative Writing

Jira

Office Suite (Expert Level)


Skills:

Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) - Would be a nice to have

Critical Eye

Detail Oriented

Self-Starter
